What we collect, why, and what we do not do with it. We sell windows and doors; your data is not a second product line.
Who operates this site
nexwd.com is owned and operated by Nanzhang Yuwen Trading Firm, the registered business trading as NEXWD. NEXWD is the name under which that business sells, warrants and supports windows and doors in the United States.
What we collect
What you type into a form: name, company, email, phone, project location and the description of your project. For trade accounts, business details needed to verify the account.
How you used the site: which pages, in what order, and a short list of deliberate actions. The section below sets out exactly what is recorded and what is not.
How we measure the site
Most of the measurement on this site is our own, run on our own server, not a third party’s. There is no advertising pixel, no session replay and no heatmap, and nothing about your visit is reported to an ad network, because we do not buy advertising that would use it.
What our own system records: the pages requested and their order, the site language, a two-letter country code from our CDN, and whether the screen is a phone or a desktop. Alongside that, a short list of deliberate actions — opening a performance table, a mounting drawing, a glazing diagram or the certification package. We record those because they tell us which technical documents are worth producing more of.
To join those pages into a single visit, your browser stores two random identifiers: one that is discarded when you close the tab, and one that stays for a year. They are random numbers, not your name, and they are never sent to anyone else. If you later write to us, we link the identifier to your enquiry so that whoever replies can see which pages you had been reading — that is the difference between a useful answer and a generic one.
What our own system does not record: your IP address, your full browser string, mouse movement, scrolling, keystrokes, and anything typed into a form that you did not send. Those are the parts of web analytics that make a visitor feel watched, and this business does not need them.
We do use two outside providers, and here is exactly what each does. SaleSmartly runs the chat bubble in the corner (WhatsApp and web chat); if you open it, the messages you send go to SaleSmartly’s systems so a person can answer you, the same as any chat tool. Zoho SalesIQ runs in the background for visitor analytics only — its own chat button is switched off, so you will never see a SalesIQ chat window — and it may set its own identifiers to recognise a returning visit. Both set cookies or identifiers outside our control and are governed by their own privacy policies: SaleSmartly’s at salesmartly.com/en/privacy_policy and Zoho’s at zoho.com/privacy.html.
Our own cookie use is limited to remembering the language you chose, so the site stops guessing on your next visit.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our own year-long identifier is not stored at all and nothing connects one of your visits to another. That signal governs our own system; it does not necessarily change what SaleSmartly or Zoho SalesIQ do, since they operate under their own policies. You can also clear our identifiers at any time by clearing site data for nexwd.com. None of this changes anything else about how the site works, and none of it affects a quote or an order.
Why we collect it
To quote your project, to produce shop drawings, to fulfil an order, and to answer you. That is the transactional purpose, and it is the only basis on which we contact you unless you have asked for more.
Marketing email is separate and opt-in. The checkbox is unticked by default and we only send marketing to people who ticked it. Unsubscribing removes you from marketing without affecting anything transactional about an order in progress.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with other manufacturers or dealers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
We do not put personal data in a URL, and we do not send your project details to anyone you have not asked us to involve.
Who processes it for us
Email delivery, cloud hosting and file storage are handled by third-party providers under contract. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, and we will. Where we are required to keep records of a completed transaction, we will tell you what has to stay and why.
Write to us and a person will answer — there is no form you have to fight through for this.
